Just like with the highest paid actors, Forbes has released their list of the highest paid actresses.
Angelina Jolie comes in on top of all actresses after bringing home a whopping $33 million.
Unlike Robert Downey Jr., top earner amongst the men, it isn't as obvious how Jolie was able to still be on top despite not having acted in a major hit in years.
This past year though, she not only took on next summer's Malificent, but she also wrote and directed In the Land of Blood and Honey. Apparently when your name is Angelina Jolie, you can take a year "off" to deal with health issues and still make more than any other actress in Hollywood.
Not too shabby.
So not shabby to the point that she beat out Jennifer Lawrence by an amazing $7 million. Despite winning the Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook and starring in the Hunger Games franchise (check out the new Catching Fire trailer here), Jennifer Lawrence wasn't able to best Jolie with her $26 million.
Making the list for likely the last time, unless she finds herself at the end of a rainbow, Kristen Stewart came in third with $22 million. Rounding out the top ten were Sandra Bullock in seventh with $14 million and Julia Roberts in tenth with $11 million.
This could easily turn into an angry feminist rant commenting on the fact that neither the top earning nor the star of one of the biggest non-Avengers franchises right now would barely break into the top ten of the men's list but let's save that for another day.
Instead, the Top Ten Highest Paid Actresses...
- Angelina Jolie, $33 million
- Jennifer Lawrence, $26 million
- Kristen Stewart, $22 million
- Jennifer Aniston, $20 million
- Emma Stone, $16 million
- Charlize Theron, $15 million
- Sandra Bullock, $14 million
- Natalie Portman, $14 million
- Mila Kunis, $11 million
- Julia Roberts, $11 million
